Not all Blue Dreams are created equal. In fact, this goes for most cannabis strains that you might see at your local store. Just because you’ve tried one Blue Dream, doesn’t mean you’ve tried them all. Viridis’ Blue Dream is miles from the competition that “tastes like a popsicle” not our words, although we wouldn’t disagree.

The fact is that there is so much more that goes into growing cannabis than just the seed itself and even seeds can differ within strains. According to Amos Elberg, head of data science at Confident Cannabis, “Not all seeds that are sold under the same name are genetically identical or even necessarily related.” “In general, for the less common names, product sold by different vendors tends to be pretty consistent,’ he notes. ‘For the most common strain names, however, a wider variety of different products are sold.’” Elberg explains. What makes Viridis’ Blue Dream different? Our hardcore values that are deep-rooted in traditional horticulture.

You see, there is a big difference when you compare mass-produced products with a “boutique” craft cannabis grower. Here at Viridis, our team members nurture each and every plant individually. There is extreme dedication to detail as we only use hand trimming to encourage the most growth and longevity possible. This “gentler” process allows more trichomes to remain intact which produces a superior product. We also understand that plants respond to talking so don’t be surprised if while on the Viridis floor you may hear things like “what a big, strong plant you are” and “look at those long, green leaves”. We try not to take things too seriously except when it comes down to the quality of our product, then we are as serious as your parents when they busted you for smoking pot in high school.

So, if I’ve piqued your curiosity and you want to try Viridis’ Blue Dream, ask for it at your local cannabis shop. Try it for yourself and let us know what you think.

Until next time, friends!
